We’re excited to share this fall’s lineup of Pacific Parties! Be sure to check out the events below and, most importantly, mark your calendars — tickets go on sale September 3 at 9:00 AM. These parties are always a hit, and tickets are expected to sell out quickly!

Pacific Parties are generously hosted by Pacific parents and are open to all Pacific families. 100% of the ticket proceeds go directly back to the Pacific PTA, helping fund programs, experiences, and resources for our students and school community.

Last year, Pacific Parties raised an incredible $60,000 for the Pacific PTA! That success is thanks to our amazing party hosts and the Pacific families who come out to celebrate, connect, and support our school. We hope you’ll join us this fall — come out for a party (or several!), support Pacific, and help make this fundraiser another huge success!

Not Receiving Your PTA Newsletter?

Your school’s PTA has transitioned its newsletter to Apptegy, and we’ve heard that some families may not be receiving it. This may be because you still need to opt in to PTA/PTSA communications through Aeries.

Here’s how to check your preference:

Log in to Aeries → Student Info → Data Confirmation → Authorizations and select “YES” to Authorization 5DE (Release of Directory Information to PTA/PTSA).

You can update this preference at any time. Once you’ve opted in, your information will be included in the audience for future PTA newsletters.

If you’ve already opted in and are still having trouble receiving the newsletter, please reach out to Pacific Post for assistance.

Volunteer at Pacific Elementary's LiveWell Kids Garden!

Beach Cities Health District is inviting our Pacific Elementary families to participate in Beach Cities Volunteer Day on Wednesday, August 12. This annual community service event brings together South Bay residents, businesses and organizations to prepare the LiveWell Kids Gardens at local elementary schools, ensuring they are ready for another year of hands-on garden and nutrition education. Following the community kickoff at 8:30 a.m. at Dominguez Park in Redondo Beach, volunteers will gather at Pacific Elementary from 9:30–11:30 a.m. to help prepare the school's LiveWell Kids Garden for the new school year.

No gardening experience is necessary! Beach Cities Health District will provide all tools, supplies and guidance. Families are encouraged to participate together, and children are welcome with adult supervision. Whether you have a green thumb or simply want to give back to the school community, this is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact while helping create an engaging outdoor learning space for Pacific students.

To learn more or register, please visit the Beach Cities Health District Volunteer Day webpage. If you have questions, contact Alejandra Sierra at (310) 374-3426, ext. 8160.

Promotion
Hello Pacific families! Looking ahead to the 2026–27 school year, we want to share that the Board of Trustees recently approved a new elementary bell schedule designed to create greater consistency across schools, improve campus safety, and support a stronger start to the instructional day.

Beginning next year, all elementary schools — including Pacific — will start at 8:15 a.m., with staggered end times. Students across all elementary schools will also have consistent instructional, recess, and lunch minutes by grade level, including a daily 20-minute recess and a 45-minute lunch period on regular school days.

These updates will also support campus safety by helping schools establish a closed campus at the start of the day and better secure campus access points. Families can review the approved schedule using the link below. We look forward to another great year with our Pacific Panthers!
