Pacific NPFH

Pacific Elementary students are exploring the many cultures that make up their school community through a meaningful new initiative led by the school’s No Place for Hate Committee.

As part of preparations for an upcoming multicultural fair, students recently participated in a schoolwide assembly focused on diversity, belonging, and celebrating what makes each member of the Pacific community unique. During the assembly, student leaders introduced the “Many Cultures, One School” activity, where students and staff placed stickers on a world map representing their family origins and shared facts about languages, traditions, foods, and cultural experiences.

These conversations are helping students build understanding, appreciation, and stronger connections with one another while reinforcing Pacific’s commitment to kindness, inclusion, and respect.

The learning will continue through a weeklong multicultural fair, where students and families will help bring cultures from around the world to life through interactive booths featuring food, music, traditions, and hands-on learning experiences. Through these activities, students will reflect on what they’ve learned while celebrating both their differences and the connections that bring them together.
