We love and appreciate our volunteers at Pacific! You help make our school great!
Please be aware that in order to volunteer on MBUSD campuses during the school year there is a set of requirements that the district requires you to do prior to being approved.
Note that there are new requirements this year and all volunteers will need to submit a new volunteer application, even if you have been approved in a previous year. Going forward, you will need to submit a volunteer application annually. School offices will begin requiring volunteers to be approved on September 18.
All volunteers need to:
1. Complete an application which is approved by the principal
2. Attach a negative TB test result or TB verification form to the application. The TB verification is good for 4 years but must be submitted with your volunteer application annually, even if it's the same documentation.
3. Complete a Live Scan background check (note that if you have done a Live Scan through another organization it is not accepted; you must do one for MBUSD). Live Scan fingerprinting only needs to be done once during your time as a volunteer and is valid for any MBUSD school.
4. Complete the Mandated Reporter training. This is online and the link will be sent to you when your application is approved.
You can refer to the MBUSD Volunteer Handbook along with district instructions to register as a volunteer and complete the application.
When volunteering on campus, please bring your ID and check in at the office.
